Yesterday, today, tomorrow. Part 1: yesterday

Hard to imagine that you will get more pleasure out of watching Sir Paul McCarthy at the White House than I did tonight. Never knew I would come to appreciate him as much as I liked him today. The songs lined up with my memory. A clear voice in charge of the song. True, or campaign commercial, I don't know. Still, a story about how we will be in this battle for some time to come. Not to lose faith, keep believing in a better future. It is that song I will sing for you now.

Yesterday . . . all my troubles seemed so far away, now it looks as if they are here to stay,

I . . . . believe in . . . . . . yesterday
