This is America and although we adopted the minimum wage 60 years ago, the issue is still up to debate or, maybe more accurate, again up for debate. In that sense society does not move forward. It continues to have the same debate. Apparently this is being looked at as something that we can't all figure out. Well, here is the problem.
I have no skills, I want to work, would you hire me? If so, what would you want to pay me? If you allow my potential employer to pay me shit and I accept shit, what's the problem to you?
By the way, is this issue the same as saying that over 50 years we will still discuss whether we could have a ex-Dutchman to be president?
I had hoped that we would have scaled that peak, beaten that horse, won that battle, came out victorious. No sneers, please.
