Not The Cornerstone

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Like you we learned today that an organization going by the name of Cornerstone is credited for organizing the October 28 meeting at which governor Rick Perry performed the human equivalent of a nuclear meltdown.

To the many of you who wondered whether The Cornerstone Coffee Works was somehow involved in this event we are sorry to say that The Cornerstone Coffee Works has not been and is not associated with the company that sponsored this event, nor, to the best of our knowledge, were any coffees brewed by The Cornerstone Coffee Works consumed in New Hampshire last Friday evening.

Although it is widely recognized that coffees from The Cornerstone Coffee Works exhibit many exceptional qualities, we admit that the term mind-blowing has as of yet not been associated with any of our products. However, the proprietors of The Cornerstone Coffee Works do not deny that sales associates have contacted the Perry campaign to discuss a possible future licensing agreement.

The Cornerstone Coffee Works of Petersburg, Pennsylvania, a small business not supported by special tax breaks or government contracts, keeps its head above water by roasting, grinding and packaging coffees from around the world; all that for $9 per pound, excluding shipping charges.
