Google Chrome Now Most Popular Browser

As was recently reported by the H Open*, the Google Chrome browser, which from its humble beginnings in 2008 has outperformed such competing browsers as Internet Explorer and FireFox, has now surpassed the use of Internet Explorer as the world's most popular browser (see graph below).

It feels like justice to me that the people behind Chrome are being rewarded for continuously moving the goal posts forward by making Chrome faster, easier to use, and seamlessly integrated with a myriad of  browser extensions and applications.

The H Open article remarks that not everyone will be convinced, but I accept it the data as a fact for the same reason that I did not push back when Bill Clinton and Tony Blair, flanked by Francis Collins and J. Craig Venter, declared that the human genome was sequenced when only 80% of the work had been completed.
* In their own words, "The H brings you the in-depth coverage of the world of IT, communications, data security and the politics of technology.".
