A great day

Today was a great day. Miller Electric installed two 240 Volt, 20 amp boxes to run the brand new Solar coffee roaster and the Avirnaki smoke elimination system. That was followed by an unexpected nap before a tasty dinner with good company at the American Ale House.

It did not hurt that the president, our president, will keep his job to lead this country forward. They ran a smart campaign that unfolded almost exactly the way they predicted. For sure, the Republican Party made it easier by promoting more than a handful of candidates who had no idea what century we're living in.

Nevertheless, a win is a win. Hopefully, Obama will lose the national vote count. Only then can we hope to get rid of the Electoral College, which has resulted in politicians focusing their campaigns on so-called swing states while ignoring the rest of the country.

Today could not have ended better.
