Mae culpas need to be openly made. Everyone, or at least the political class, voice and video news providers, and their readers need to hear, read or feel the change. Taking that risk is dangerous, but also rewarding.
I have changed what I used to believe about . . .
That's important to you because . . .
We now believe the same, which is nice, or else I will be asking you to make the change with me.
I realize that I may loose that argument, but I'll take my chances.
