My fellow primates, 200 years ago today, Charles Darwin was born

This is how Olivia Judson starts her article in today's New York Times. To which I add, "Darwin was a most impressive scientist, who created order in the chaos of what biology was in his days. His ability to develop and pursue uncommon ideas, test them painstakingly and report on them in clear and concise prose continues to be a reminder of what a life of science can be all about. Before you hit the pillow today, take a moment to let the champagne flow in recognition of a most wonderful and accomplished human being."

On the chance of breaking the law, I am adding a link to Olivia's article.
