The World Upside Down

Does the world go upside down for all of us at the same time, or is it just happening to me? This appears to be one of those times when the world turns upside down for all of us. Republicans are fighting among themselves! They are driving Romney out of the party by positioning themselves as Democrats. Since when are Republicans talking about how ruthless the capitalist system is, that Romney made his money by buying and selling labor and capital, by slashing jobs, and selling the scraps. By making money with money? The guy did not create new jobs. At best he subsidized people who created jobs. Not much of a Captain America, at least not one from the Modern Age.

Republicans are talking about how ruthless the capitalist system is ever since they wanted to get rid of Mitt. I bet the audience loves this, but you would not expect a Republican to get soft on capitalism. That's what turned our world upside down.

What's next? Pretty soon Democrats will propose to cut Social Security, send our troops back to Iraq, institute Romneycare, bomb Iran, ban abortion, deport all illegals, and have the Obamas use the backdoor to enter our house.

I am not changing, though, I know what's going on. It's one of those days everything, everything changed. You were there. Like you were for the Beatles, the assassinations, the unlimited sex, the war in Vietnam, Watergate, the Fall of the Wall. You were also there when Republicans became Democrats.
