Are you with stupid?

The problem with the GOP is that the people who are considered "the establishment", those who are normally in charge, are not setting the ideological agenda for the party. Leadership without leaders. Cruz sucked up all the energy. To keep him in line you have to speak louder. Boehner does not have that ability. He is an empty bag. Has no story, not even a beginning.

There are good arguments for a conservative policy for almost any issue that we confront as a country, but instead of paying tribute to thinking conservatives, those in charge continue to align themselves with people who don't believe in science, who think the earth is a few thousand yeas old, who say that all those climate scientists are pulling the wool over our eyes, that they are conspiring against the rest of us.

What do you do when you are dealing with people who act irrational? Who act like they don't believe that facts count.

It is a question. I don't know the answer. Do you? We have to hurry up. Put them in prison?

I know that's not going to happen. We'll kill each other first. Will you be with stupid?

Sanity can lead to war. Ask Abraham Lincoln. He had to take a stand. His back was against the wall. I don't mean during the war, no, once he accepted that he was willing to fight. Whatever happens. It is our destiny. You don't change your morals. You redefine what it means to be a patriot. To love your country. Figure out again who we are, what we stand for.

Wonder what the Constitution, the preamble or the Bill of Rights, say about that? About blackmail?
